    Feb 14th 2012--Dan Tudor will be showing some of his beautiful photographs of Burrowing Owl babies.  Discussion of Burrowing Owl Festival prep.
We need festival volunteers so please attend this meeting.

    March 13th 2012--Pot luck appetizer & dessert buffet.  Please join us and bring an appetizer or dessert to share. We'll review the success of the festival and share photo's of the event.

Florida Yards & Neighborhoods (FYN) Program Introductory Classes

Learn the nine principles that guide Florida friendly landscaping in Lee County. Plant selection and placement, efficient irrigation,
proper mulching and techniques to obtain a beautiful and healthy yard will be discussed.
Classes at Rotary Park in SW Cape Coral & Rutenberg Park
in Fort Myers.

Join us at a Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Rain Barrel Workshop and learn how Rain Barrels can collect water from your roof.  Only a 1/4" of rain on a typical roof will create over 600 gallons of water!  Our 55-gallon recycled barrels will be transformed into a Rain Barrel during the class that you can take home.
